Facilities
The facilities for the regasification plant are located in the city of Cartagena de Indias, in the area of Baru and currently operated by SPEC LNG S.A. E.S.P. Built in 2013-2016, began operations on November 2016. The plant consists of an "onshore" terminal, where SPEC'S LNG operational facilities are located along with the measuring stations, and an "offshore" terminal where is located the FSRU (Floating Storage and Regasification Unit), in which the LNG regasification and storage processes are carried out. Below, are the most important facts of the terminal:
- FSRU: Höegh - Grace
- Regasification Capacity: 400 MPCD
- Storage Capacity: 170.000 m3
- Gas Pipeline: 10 km approx. (from FSRU to SRT Mamonal Station)
